Welcome to Tamarinde Tree Genealogy. I'm Michèle van Veldhoven and I've been puzzling out families since 2002. This website hosts my genealogical database named The Village and a database which belonged to a very special friend of mine, Hugo de Vries.

These two databases represent a collection of families from Europe, mainly the Netherlands, Suriname and Curaçao and surrounding Caribbean areas.

If you are new to my site you will likely want to start by reading through the Help and FAQ sections below (coming soon). Also note that information concerning living individuals is withheld from public view. If you wish to have full access to my databases, you will need to register.
